JP Schools League Round 3
SSV hosted round 3 of the JP Schools League, with St Josephs entering for the first time, and picking up a healthy 12 points! Well done to an improving Broadoak team who picked up their first point of the season. Even the heavy rain later on couldn't put a dampener on the football, with some great games being played, and some very close scorelines. All in all a great night of football, good to see schools including girls in their teams, and we were all finished for 6PM to watch United make their debut on Thursdays nights Channel 5!!
Round 4 will be held late March

Yesterday saw the start of the USSU League. Twelve teams battled it out in freezing conditions to join the highest division. The cold weather didn't deter the teams and there were great performances from The Rents who came out top in Group A, with 12 points !...Highest Scores were Fathers For Justice with 13 goals ! Group C saw all teams winning at least 1 game and Bayer Neverlusen coming out top with 11 points and 9 goals…! Next week will see the start of the league proper….…Good luck to all teams. Goals from each group can be seen on our facebook - Fan Page http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/JP-League-Fan-Page/134618313295502

A quick reveiw of JP Leagues first season
Our first season here at JP League ran smoothly throughout each week. There were hi's and low's for all teams in both leagues. Being a new league we started off with only the minimal amount of teams, this has now progressed into two leagues with new teams joining up each week. There has been some great football and some great goals scored, which can all be seen on our website http://www.jpleague.co.uk/videos/ and facebook page http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/pages/JP-League/134618313295502
The 1st division was won by JMI United with All Stars taking 2nd place. The second division title went to Barca Reds.
The last night of the league was run as a competition. It was a great night with All Stars just managing to win on the night.
